21st October 2007 Kite surfing: Marazion Wind Direction: SSE Wind Stength: 12-15 knots Surf / Sea State: small waves / chop Air Temperature: warmish Sea Temperature: coolish Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: woke to the sun shining through the curtains and the van gently rocking in the wind. oops - promised Tony I wouldn't go on about what a great time we were having - as he couldn't make it! After a very long breakfast finally got on the beach 12ish, to find the wind a dropped a little so sat in the sun for a while. Neil went out first on Daz's new 18m Vegas - but not before first throwing it down in the middle the main road - caused quite a stir! Then the wind picked up again and we all went out for a nice liitle sesh. The Instinct Edge did its light wind thing - Daz on an 18m, Jon on a 17m, even Neil on his 15m - and me on the 13m Edge - cracking job. Kept near to the coast this time after yesterday's little adventure! Tim turned up late on and went out on his 12m Waroo, but not enough wind, so retired to the vans to watch the Grand Prix. |
